Supervising Community Manager

We are looking for a Supervising Community Manager with great sales and team leading abilities, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service for the 81-unit (combined) apartment communities of 2020 Building and Serene Court Apartments in the Downtown Portland area. Amenities at these apartment communities include a fitness center, rooftop patio, off street parking, and a laundry room.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day property management including marketing, maintaining property integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports, preparing agreements, and supervising/training all property employees. You will have a separate office to manage your staff and conduct work from. We would love to see how you might fill our Supervising Community Manager role if you find the qualities above intriguing. Your workdays will be Monday through Friday with office hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (40 hours a week). The pay rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $26.00 an hour. Sign-on bonus offered after 90 days of employment!

. Requirements:

What you will bring:

  • Two (2) years of previous customer service experience is required.
  • Two (2) years of previous property management experience is required.
  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Previous Entrata Property Management Software experience is preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks involving collecting rent, preparation of reports, agreements, etc.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
  • Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between properties.
  • A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record and proof of auto insurance.
