Plank & Hide is a rapidly expanding luxury brand in the home furnishings marketplace, offering uniquely authentic outdoor casual/ patio furniture and indoor game room products, such as pool tables, shuffleboards, bars, and game tables.

We are searching for a full-time Sourcing & Product Development Coordinator to assist the Director of Sourcing & Product Development in managing the company’s sourcing and product development initiatives. This person should be an excellent communicator, organized, proficient in MS Office programs (particularly Excel) and Airtable and detailed in their follow ups. This position plays a crucial role in the day-to-day sourcing, product development and vendor management needs of the company. The position is based in our Cincinnati, Ohio headquarters.


High School or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative role

Proficient in MS Office suite, Airtable, Google Docs, WeChat/WhatsApp and Dropbox

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience working with overseas vendors is a plus

Job Requirements:


Vendor Management – Answer emails and participate in weekly calls with vendors to ensure company initiatives are met relative to production and shipping – follow up with vendors regarding pricing

Product Development – Follow up with vendors on all new product development projects – manage design room and material swatch inventory

Quality Control – Take quality issues/warranty claims from customer service team and assist with vendor resolution – timely escalation of recurring issues

Sourcing – Assist Director in vetting potential new vendors – research potential new vendors and new material suppliers

Administrative – Schedule and confirm vendor appointments for Director’s overseas travel – Manage and book Director’s flight, hotel and car accommodations

Product Information Management – Continual updating and management of Airtable, company’s PIM platform – update new and existing SKUs with most up to date information including cost, dimensions, specs, etc.
