Delivery Portfolio Manager


Kforce has a client that is seeking a Delivery Portfolio Manager in Jacksonville, FL. Scope of Position: The Delivery Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of projects to support the organization's strategic and operational priorities. The candidate works closely with IT and business leadership and is accountable for end-to-end coordination of technology product rollouts, corporate infrastructure implementations, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Portfolio Manager will work with all business areas to understand and prioritize business challenges and opportunities and work with business and technical teams to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Plan and execute cross-functional delivery of projects using established project management templates, tools, and processes
  • Manage the enterprise project and request portfolio, including intake, planning, execution, and status reporting
  • As a Delivery Portfolio Manager, you will gather high-level business requirements and create detailed functional requirements for use by cross-functional project teams
  • Execute quality assurance testing and facilitate user acceptance testing on assigned projects
  • Create, implement, and oversee a quality assurance and user acceptance program, including planning and execution of testing, defect tracking, and resolution
  • Create training materials and deliver or coordinate end-user training for assigned projects
  • Delivery Portfolio Managers coordinate project related go-live activities, such as communications and transition to post-production support
  • Develop and maintain standard project delivery processes, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain Portfolio Delivery Team processes, policies, and procedures documentation
  • Delivery Portfolio Managers create and/or review IT department communications to the enterprise

Job Requirements:


  • Proficient with industry standard project management, quality assurance, documentation, and collaboration tools; Examples: Changepoint Daptiv PPM, Microsoft Project, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Teams
  • Project management certification preferred
