SVP Innovation Design

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Innovation Design is responsible for leading the company’s emerging Executive Design program, guiding external & internal stakeholders through a playbook for high impact problem solving at key customers & targets. This executive reports to the CRO and influences the senior management team and business unit leaders by championing the strategic roadmap built by the company & key customers in the Executive Design sessions. The insights from the design sessions will have significant impact on the company’s product roadmap. The SVP of Innovation Design serves as a strategic member of our senior leadership team and will be a leader on the path to win Big Deals.


  • Develop and deploy the company’s Executive Design Session overall playbook
  • Align with internal executive leaders to participate, contribute, and have accountability to the program
  • Coordinate with external executives, guiding them through the design journey with a hands on approach
  • Uncover & Outline a customer’s key 1-5 year initiatives, building a tailored Design experience around accomplishing those goals, to avoid a traditional lower-level assessment process
  • Internally communicate design outcomes with Product, considering delivery dates & customer value necessary for a successful program, acting as the advocate for the customer
  • Be a lead mind for the reimagining process, avoiding workflow mapping, and overall elevating the design experience beyond traditional assessment
  • Serve as lead to Sr Solution Architects, who will also coordinate & lead design sessions following the playbook constructed by the SVP
  • Report effectively to the Market President, aligning with the go to market strategy & communicating market trends for strategic adjustments
  • Communicate strongly with the product organization, emphasis on the Chief Product Officer & Chief Technology Officer, to ensure fast yet strategic roadmap responses to Executive Design Sessions.
  • Pursue a deep education on the company’s product catalogue, understanding the value & vision of current product offerings, with a path to incorporate the full catalogue into the solution offering from the Design Sessions
  • Coordinate on strategic account planning with both the Executive Directors and the CPEs, to understand the company revenue goals for that account, as well as to communicate the product level innovation possibilities


  • 15+ years experience in leading customer-facing organizations
  • 10+ years in Healthcare solution services, designing end-user programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Ideally combined background of revenue generation, product implementation, and design leadership
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Proven design thinking background & program implementation
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
