The Role:
Within the Digital organization, the SDI Digital Payments team is looking for a Digital Product Owner to lead analysis efforts on a scrum team, aligned to the SDI Move Money customer journey in the Digital Servicing Communities. As part of a scrum team, this individual will be building and implementing Digital capabilities and Digital Move Money experiences, which empower customers and Wells Fargo to quickly and securely fulfill digital banking and financial needs. As Wells Fargo transforms to a Mobile/Digital First, customer-centric, self-service strategy to meet customer needs, digital capabilities, which support customers’ self-serve at home, in Branch and in the Contact Centers, are critical to our customers and company’s success.

The Responsibilities:

The Digital Product Owner acts as a liaison between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems solved through strategic digital solutions.
Be part of a scrum team and participate in daily stand-ups, lead refinement sessions, author/refine user stories, attend size/commit sessions, and provide feedback in retrospectives
Work closely with Product Owner and/or LOB, to understand prioritization of stories, and to elicit detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Produce business requirement artifacts – including User Stories, UML, Use Cases, Business Rules, and Supplemental (Non- Functional) Specifications– for complex capabilities
Lead refinement  sessions with a cross-functional team to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes
Apply new processes and capabilities, which may include Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Service Virtualization, Micro-services, API and Use Case 2.0.
Work directly with all levels across the organization including senior management and be considered the highest-level functioning expert
Be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with technical and business teams

Locations:  San Francisco, CA or Charlotte, NC
Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting demonstrated through work or military experience



Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of internet, mobile, and tablet technology
  • Solid critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Digital Payment experience

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $109,200 Mid: $156,000 Max: $202,800
NC-Charlotte: Min: $91,000 Mid: $130,000 Max: $169,000
