Responsibilities and Qualifications

Summary:

The Federal Contracts Specialist is part of the Fed Government team and plays a key role in supporting the Federal Government Account Managers, Sales Leadership, Product Marketing and Vendors while ensuring timely and accurate execution of pricing and rebate maintenance, managing Federal contracts and large Federal RFQs, researching and resolving discrepant issues timely and reporting on all departmental contract vehicles. In addition, this role reports Admin and Vendor Recovery Fees timely and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain DAPA and ECAT pricing and price sheets housed within the business system or with partners.

o Upload and maintain new price sheets into ERP system per Mobile Point requests or Pricing Analytics team.

o Develop relationships and work closely with DAPA and ECAT government partners.

o Develop relationships and work closely with DAPA Prime Vendors.

o Drive expiring vendor contracts process for assigned area in conjunction with Account Managers and Vendors.

o Enter and maintain current rebate pricing agreements to ensure accurate rebate pricing housed within business system.

o Research and resolve price and rebate discrepancies and price conflicts in pricing hierarchy and determine root cause. Process appropriate credit/rebills and follow through to resolution.

o Administer all Federal contracts rewards rebates.

o Archive pricing agreements.
  • Manage DAPA and ECAT customer price sheets and rebates

o Complete provided add, change and delete all Federal Contracts requests.

o Complete provided add, change and delete pricings

o Assign customer to correct price sheets and rebates.

o Manage tracings back from prime vendors to correct AM's.
  • Manage DAPA and ECAT admin fees and vendor recovery fees

o Submit and track vendor fee recovery reports to vendors monthly with Product Management.

o Audit reports periodically comparing to contracts to ensure report accuracy.
  • Manage DHS contract and all agency BPA's associated with the division.
  • Complete special projects for GM Federal Gov requests
  • Work with in-house CS team to drive revenue source acquisition from online bid sites such as Unison and Sam.Gov.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with manipulating large volumes of data in Excel.
  • Proficient and accurate computer skills.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience performing Federal Government Contracts work with proven history working closely with DLA and other Federal Agencies in procurement, submission and awards.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • GS schedule preferred.

Skills/Experience Required:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include intermediate Excel skills.
  • Interacts professionally and communicates effectively with members of the business at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task with high accuracy while balancing deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task with high degree of accuracy.
  • Critical thinking skills with ability to analyze, problem-solve and make decisions independently.
