Card Service Specialist

Job Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities –

  • Handles account inquiries for credit and debit cards from cardholders and branch staff
  • Enter new credit card and business card applications
  • Monitors Debit Card personalized system and then completes the process                
  • Post the daily Debit card exceptions to cardholder accounts
  • Works morning XP reports for accuracy/ Verifies several Debit and Credit card reports (Reissues & Decline Authorizations)
  • Maintains various spreadsheets for tracking purposes (Tokenization, Authorizations etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Processes necessary Debit and Credit card transactions, maintenance, and follows up with any correspondence.
  • Handles account inquiries from both cardholders as well as branch personnel. (Phone, Email, Fax, Mail)
  •   Accepts, verifies, and processes Visa card blocks and/or documentation regarding Lost or Stolen cards as requested by cardholders and branch personnel.
  • Handles any inquiries from cardholders or branch personnel regarding account balances and credit limit increases
  •  Reviews various reports and makes any necessary corrections, ensuring that data has been input properly
  •   Responsible for entering and auditing any new credit card and business card applications


 Major Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Two to three years experience in the card, lending or collection area in a credit union or other financial institution
