Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary

The key purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and maintain recruiting strategies that support the company’s growth and other duties as assigned.

 


Responsibilities

Percent Responsibility

 

  • 35% Manage/drive full-cycle recruitment and preboarding process including screening resumes, interviewing candidates, developing recruiting sources (social media, job boards, college recruiting, etc.), administering behavioral assessments, and conduct reference and background checks.
  • 20% Maintain the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and manage candidate activity, run regular/ad hoc reports to identify trends/issues and conduct analysis to drive continuous improvements.
  • 10% Partner with hiring manager to learn about open positions, job description content to ensure the information is accurate and up to date for recruiting purposes.
  • 10% Develop recruiting strategies, using best practices in interviewing, and coach managers on protocol.
  • 10% Manage the onboarding process from the employer and candidate experience, communicate credit union and position details to new hires, prepare and send electronic onboarding paperwork, create and coordinate credit union presentations and videos.
  • 15% Maintain various recruitment and social media platforms to attract qualified candidates, revise and implement sound talent acquisition policies and practices to ensure compliance, coordinate outside recruiting including executive search firms and negotiate contracts with staffing agencies.

 



Job Requirements:

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

 

  • 3 years of relevant experience.
