Marketing Leader

About the Marketing Department

Marketing manages the Continuant brand and continuously works on further establishing the company as a thought leader in the industry. We work in close collaboration with our Sales and Products teams to identify what our customers want to achieve, what challenges they face, and how our products help solve these challenges. We then develop the messaging and (online) content that generates leads and empowers our Sales teams to help more customers.

The Marketing Manager oversees the ideation, development, and implementation of Continuant’s Marketing strategies, leading the team of creatives that executes them. As a cross-functional collaborator, this role works closely with Products and Sales and is the Marketing liaison with the rest of the organization. The Marketing Manager knows our products and solutions, and how they solve our target audience’s problems. Being up to speed on industry developments, the Marketing Manager proactively develops campaigns that increase revenue and brand reputation. The Marketing Manager is someone who can shift between creativity and strategy and understand Marketing at a broad level – from design and copywriting, to SEO, (paid) advertising, video, and print.

This position reports directly to the VP of Products and Marketing.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Products and Sales teams to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
  • Work with both Sales and Products to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager in leading the Marketing team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Requirements:


  • You have BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
  • You are a natural leader that can cast a vision, build a team, and develop individuals into the best version of themselves.
  • You have experience creating and managing financial budgets
  • You are a great communicator and decision maker and have great interpersonal skills.
  • You have Strong project management and time management skills, including the ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly when priorities shift.
  • You understand Content Management Systems, Design tools and Digital Marketing methodologies.
  • Experience with Donald Miller’s StoryBrand methodology is considered a bonus
