What we need:

Mohawk is looking for an Inventory Planning Analyst (II) who can do more for Mohawk by coordinating material and production requirements. This position will be responsible for ensuring company production goals are met, and resolving questions and problems that may arise. 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage aged and impaired inventory levels of RAWs, WIP, and finished goods
  • Determine best avenue for disposal of impaired inventories (convert or sell) and manage process to completion
  • Develop key metrics and dashboards to decrease impaired inventory charges
  • Audit yarn inventory min/max levels
  • Audit sample and FAS plans to minimize inventory
  • Develop and audit inventory control reports within the planning group to ensure excess inventory is not created
  • Communicate with Product Management regarding changes that may impact demand such as drops, new add, new programs, and communicate those demand-impacting changes to the planning team

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Operations, Business), Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent training and experience that provides knowledge of inventory requirements and planning constraints
  • Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes, company brands and product specifications
  • Ability to create excel worksheets pivot tables and use vlookup, sumif, and countif, functions
  • Knowledge and ability to download Sequel and CAMS data tables

  • Communicating effectively with a wide range of inidividuals in written, oral, and interpersonal form
  • Combining a drive for organization and detail to oversee large production volume
  • Driving optimization and results by identifying potential problems and implementing solutions before they occur
