Sr Financial Consolidation Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Sr Financial Consolidation Reporting Analyst to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the monthly consolidation of P&L and Balance Sheets and other indicators for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Own country-wide accounting consolidations process, instructions and timetable
  • Verify monthly upload of trial balances, monitor close progression, perform close and consolidation duties, and manage close-related queries.
  • Prepare consolidating and other journal entries as needed, including profit eliminations between consolidated subsidiaries.
  • Manage the monthly accounting for Real Estate Companies.
  • Responsible for all compliance and financial reporting requirement for lease accounting under IFRS 16
  • Prepare and submit annual goodwill impairment analysis.
  • Responsible for monthly ICS Reporting within Sonepar Group and Operating Companies
  • Responsible for restructuring reporting, Incentive Compensation Accounting
  • Monthly eliminations for US Key Accounts entity
  • Management fee calculation, allocation, invoicing, and reporting based on SMG accounts.
  • Record monthly consolidations top-side entries.
  • Prepare and review consolidations package with the Financial Reporting and Consolidations Senior Manager and ensure timely submission to corporate headquarters.
  • Organize and prepare year end reporting package including footnotes to the annual report.
  • Own the process for reporting to corporate headquarters including answers all questions with the help of Opcos and the finance team.
  • Communicate monthly consolidated results to the executive team.
  • Work with external auditors during their reviews/audits by preparing information requests and addressing inquires and following up on tasks
  • Responsible for accounting for some US corporate entities including adhoc reports.
  • Assist in the implementation of a new consolidations and financial reporting tool, working with implementors and the internal team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting, including Big 4 and industry experience; public company experience desired.
  • Experience with consolidation, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reporting required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP Business Objects Financial Consolidations (BFC) highly preferred.
  • Experience in Power BI (Business Intelligence) highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple and changing priorities with ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and proactively resolve problems while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Must be hands-on, have a strong work ethic, excel in a fast-paced environment, and be adaptable.
