Brand Ambassador

The full-time Territory Brand Ambassador is responsible for field-based in-store execution within an assigned territory by building and maintaining relationships with retail partners, installing promotional signage, confirming price adherence, count in-store inventory, assist selling in and building out fixtures, rotate, and reset product and complete in-store surveys. Proficiency with sales technologies, including but not limited to CRM software, communication technologies and software, etc. is necessary or success in this role.

  

Key Responsibilities:

 In-store execution of product positioning, shelf space, pricing, and merchandising. Stocks and restocks shelves within convenience and package liquor stores with designated products. Assembles and installs display racks and back bar sets.

 Develops and maintains retailer relationships through category and product awareness and education to drive adult consumer conversion and attachment.

 Customer engagement through in-person coupon distribution and a brief survey.

 Executes sales strategies and territory plans – works collaboratively within assigned sales geography to drive business priorities. Sells and executes local, regional, and national Trade Marketing and branding initiatives into existing and prospective accounts.

 High level of organization and attention to detail required to execute strategic plans and initiatives.

 Maintain working knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert

 Achieves (KPI’s) tied to the company, regional team, and individual performance – engages in product training, demos, consumer awareness, branding, and acquisition initiatives, while enthusiastically promoting the marketing message and product mix through direct discussions with store decision-makers.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of 2-5 years retail merchandising experience
  • Working knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), spirits, tobacco and/or consumer electronics a plus
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid drivers’ license and maintain automobile liability insurance – must have reliable transportation with the ability to drive in excess of 50 miles per day during the normal course of business
  • Proven proficiency and aptitude in operating basic system software and computer skills, including, but not limited to CRM (Salesforce), Google, Microsoft, and other common off-the-shelf business tools
  • Strong communication, analytics and organizational skills required – must be self-motivated and capable of working independently as required
  • Ability to store and support supplies and point of purchase materials needed to complete job responsibilities
  • Regularly lift up to 40 pounds, stand, stoop, bend, kneel and climb a ladder
