Job Description

Responsible for supervising teams that execute the stocking and replenishment of merchandise in a thorough, accurate and efficient manner. Receiving product into the warehouse within the allotted time. Gathering of merchandise for the purpose of filling orders for wholesale customers and company owned stores. Ensure schedules are properly maintained, teams are properly trained, and operate in a safe and clean environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure schedules are created and maintained on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Teams properly execute all required stocking and replenishment procedures daily.
  • Ensure all receiving is done in a timely and efficient manner. And that the appropriate paperwork is processed including the receiving log.
  • Ensure teams pull orders in a quick and accurate fashion to fill all necessary orders.
  • Assure accuracy and thoroughness of all stocking and replenishment.
  • Report any discrepancies with new merchandise to DC Assistant Manager.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to DC Assistant Manager



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization, or by phone.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, key-punch or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Knowledge of forklifts.
  • Able to read a computer-generated report.
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills.
  • Able to navigate Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to execute simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
  • Good hand / eye coordination.
  • Knowledge of loading and unloading trailers.
  • One-year forklift experience.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
