The main focus of the Staffing Coordinator position is to maintain operational branch success and coordinate client care with referral sources, clients and employees to ensure quality service delivery. All coordination must be conducted within contract, state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. We are currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator with bilingual language skills. This is an ideal role for an individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish and who has experience in home care services and/or healthcare services. 

The Staffing Coordinator reports directly to the Branch Manager. Work hours for this role are normally Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and document employee/client calendars and complete communication forms
  • Evaluate On-Call reports
  • Participate in annual reviews
  • Communicate with field staff, nurses, branch managers, referral sources and caseworkers regarding client conditions
  • Coordinate resolution for daily staffing issues
  • Participate in On-Call rotation once every other month
  • Review time sheets and submit payroll entry forms
  • Conduct and/or assist with interviews or discipline
  • Assist with employee training
  • Assist Branch Manager with any other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in the health care and/or home services industry
  • Must be able to fluently speak both English and Spanish, and have the ability to communicate with others in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience working with the elderly and/or disabled or must display a compassionate attitude for that constituent
  • Professional communication and organizational skills
