Promotions Analyst


Kforce has a client seeking a Promotions Analyst in Miami, FL (Florida). The Promotions Analyst will be a key liaison between the Pricing & Proposition and Business Systems Solutions teams. Other responsibilities include creating and maintaining pricing and inventory business rule structures, leading end-to-end testing efforts for the Pricing team, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and other ad hoc analyses. Responsibilities:
  • Promotions Analyst will participate in ideation of ongoing promotional strategy by consulting on possible business rule solutions for new programs
  • Implement innovative promotional solutions, increasing speed-to-market and providing tailored go-to-market solutions as part of budding international pricing & proposition strategies
  • Liaise and consult with the Business Systems Solutions team
  • Promotions Analyst will build and test business rules for Programs & Offers in multiple environments of our reservation system, collaborating with various departments to provide end-to-end solutions
  • Create structured pricing and inventory business rules in our reservation system for new inventory releases and maintain existing pricing structures
  • Project managing cross-departmental revenue initiatives, particularly related to inventory opening for sale, itinerary changes, large groups, and charters
  • Promotions Analyst will lead UAT testing efforts for the revenue team in Seaware Main, Seaware Touch, and company website, considering implications for all channels
  • Lead change management efforts for new & existing programs as the result of actionable recommendations from the Commercial Insights team
  • Coordinate non-revenue, cross-team initiatives, including standardization and improvement of new and existing processes
  • Promotions Analyst will increase efficiency of promotional combinability across new and existing Programs & Offers

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university required, with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a quantitative discipline required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building business rules is required, with a background in cruise industry preferred
  • Seaware experience required
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly implement innovative business rule solutions
  • Expert at project managing, time-management, and communicating complicated concepts to various teams
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others in an open, unstructured environment
