Analyst II - Tech Delivery

Job Description:

This position will provide Business Analyst support to several key systems and enterprise wide initiatives within Enterprise Claims Technology (ECT).   Applying technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large scale initiatives involving line of business, Technology teams and vendors. Works closely with business partners / Product Owners and Technology team members to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs and objectives to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into technical designs to serve customer needs. 

The expectations of this role are the following :

•8+ year’s system/business analyst experience, 4+ years’ experience with Agile and feature/story development, solid ability to translate business requirements into agile features & stories.

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

•Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player, flexible

•Create large / complex business process flows based upon feedback from multiple cross organization Business subject matter experts

•Translate the large / complex business process flows into epic/feature roadmap(s) as well as develop epics and stories in JIRA

•Experience preparing for and leading LOB and scrum team through a SAFe program increment planning event and produce the expected planning event deliverables.

•Develop KPIs associated to epics and data attributes needed for reporting teams to have the data to calculate the KPIs

•Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity

•Excellent time management skills; ability to manage against short deadlines.

•Basics in financial markets & banking operations.

•Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability for work

•Committed to constant teaching and learning, both functionally and technically

•Motivated to work closely with other team members of varying levels of seniority and experience within a cross functional team

•Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint)

•Ability to work with diverse team members working across geographical areas in virtual environment

•Experience working in a Business Analyst role operating in a large matrixed organization

•Strong working experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and associated Tools

•Proficient in SQL skills to analyze the data issues to reconcile data between systems and components

•8+  years’ experience in technology business analysis in a fast paced, complex business and technology environment

•3-4 years’ experience in software development (either in Development or Testing or Project Management) Is a plus

•3-5 Consumer Bank industry knowledge/experience preferred.

•2-3 years of experience with Bank Operations and Systems

•1-2 Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus
