The Opportunity: The Retiree Health Analyst works on a wide range of complex data and actuarial valuations of health and welfare plans. This position affords an immediate opportunity to apply analytical, problem-solving, and technology skills contributing to the development of solutions to challenging client issues.

The Role: Responsibilities include all aspects of retiree health valuations for multiemployer, single-employer, and public sector clients, as well as special retiree health studies and projects. This includes reconciling plan participant data, analyzing financial statements, creating and updating valuation programs and spreadsheet applications, and preparing reports with the support of experienced actuaries.

The qualified candidate must have:

 -  an undergraduate degree preferably with a focus in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

 - Actuarial exam progress with successful completion of one or two exams with desire to achieve credentialed status required.

 - Prior related work experience is preferred but not required.

 - Individual must have excellent time management and communication skills, proficiency using computer software (specifically MS Excel), strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to thrive in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.
