An e-commerce company in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team. The Supply Chain Analyst will primarily focus on developing and monitoring metrics for supplier performance for their raw materials, component supply, and delivery schedules. This is a contract position.

Client Details

Our client is a global e-commerce company based out of Manhattan.


* Monitor inventory levels vs. targets and shortages for boutiques / Ecommerce / Specialist Retail. Identify inventory opportunities

* Identify supply risks and prepare mitigation actions

* Successfully manages assigned Principals keeping inventory turns, service levels, and slow-moving stock within set KPI's.

* Understand demand from master schedulers to ensure healthy supply plan

* Understand root causes for shortages and drive actions to recover in fastest possible duration

* Track and resolve issues on scheduled shipments (ship date) and delivery dates to ensure timely receipt of inventory

* Determine purchasing needs, create, manage and track Purchase Orders and inventory levels

* Align with management on Purchasing requirements for commodities: volume, purchasing cost, validity period of volume and cost, awarded volume allocation by supplier


The ideal Supply Chain Analyst will be familiar with on-time delivery performance, reducing lead time, and minimizing the past due backlog.

* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.

* 3+ years' of proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Planning, Logistics Planning or similar role with familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning, warehouse management)

* Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting; including Power BI, QlikView, and SQL Server is beneficial for this role.

* The successful candidate will need strong knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

* Strong organizational skills with excellent time management and decision making skills

* Works well independently and cross-functionally
