Your Job as an Application Analyst:

The HRIS Analyst I supports and maintains the primary Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other information systems for the Human Resources (HR) Department.

Your Responsibilities as an Application Analyst:

  • Serves as the first level point-of-contact and works with subject matter experts to ensure efficient maintenance and operation of Human Resources systems to provide for optimum functionality.
  • Uses the Ivanti ticketing system to provide system support to field HR regarding system issues to include security role assignments, workflow designations, and employee record updates.
  • Ensures data integrity and security, to provide useful reports, to assist with budgeting and forecasting for labor relations.
  • Maintains Payroll and Human Resources systems data integrity.
  • Works collaboratively to carry out complex work managing and supporting the facilities and corporate office.
  • Analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Defines application problem by conferring with field HR and evaluates processes for continuous improvements.
  • Participates in system testing and validates results of functionality and system upgrades.
  • Provides training to field HR as needed.
  • Support multiple system developments and deployments at any given time.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Your Skills and Qualifications as an Application Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated and verifiable experience supporting multi-location information technology platforms.
  • Systems business process design. (how to marry best workflow between operations side and system functionality)
  • Ability to learn and apply computer application knowledge to debug common technical issues.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
