Working in the Electrification Instillation Products sales team, the Resale Product Manager will be part of the Product Operations team, which has the principal goal to develop commercial programs to drive growth and profitability of ABB Installation Products in the US and around the world. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Product Management, Supply Chain Management, and Operations to identify out-sourcing opportunities for Premier Installation Products currently manufactured in the US / Latin America Hub. This position is responsible for ensuring that product strategies are aligned with our operational capabilities and capacity for maximum profitability while meeting the needs of our customers.

Reporting to the Industry Segment Specialist, you will perform various activities to assist in the development, launch, maintenance, and profitability of HUB U.S./Mexico/Latin America.



Your responsibilities

  • Identify market trends and utilize available sales and profitability data to focus efforts on the most viable target products; evaluate market and competitive position for target products.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain Management, and Operations to strategically out-source specific product families, ensuring the expected quality, service, and profitability levels.
  • Drive project execution from the initial identification of the opportunity, through detailed assessment (e.g. due diligence, strategic option analysis), and complete project management until closing of the project.
  • Track and analyze product performance and trends in terms of volume and profitability; create alternative strategies for underperforming products.
  • Ensure that overall Electrification Instillation Products (ELIP) sales growth targets for new resale product opportunities are achieved.



Your background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical area.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, purchasing, or technical area.
  • Master of Business Administration is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of the electrical market and basic electrical systems and components.
  • Technically competent with business acumen.
  • Proven record of demand generation and market development.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
