The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. We are seeking an Agile Digital Delivery Leader to support our Manage My Relationship Journeys within the SDI Operations team. We are looking for a passionate leader that can drive multiple large & complex efforts that are focused on launching new products, streamlining interactions between people and services, enhance customer experience & reducing cost to serve. This influential leader must have experience implementing such efforts across Fintechs and/or traditional banks. This leader will be required to collaborate and influence senior business & technology leaders across the company to prioritize the work & drive a unified strategy across the consumer lending line of business.

Main responsibilities for the Digital Delivery Manager:

  • Lead an existing team of Program Managers, Project Managers and Scrum Masters, hire new resources (as needed) and build relationship with the key Stakeholders in SDI, Consumer Lending and Technology, to maintain and manage a healthy Portfolio.
  • Provide delivery leadership and experience for Innovation and R&D, Financial Health, and other digital initiatives
  • Collaborate with business & technology to develop right strategies, technology solutions, and enable delivery teams with right tool, processes, and routines to improve speed to market
  • Ensure agile mind-set is adopted and teams are empowered with data to drive right value-add customer outcomes
  • Participate in creating business cases for specific program, projects and strategic decision options and own the business case for the PMO/Transformation team
  • Prepare budget submissions based upon reliable data
  • Translate the organizational objectives into the annual resource plan for personnel (FTE, contractors and other leveraged resources) as well as financial
  • Translate top down directives (e.g., cost optimization initiatives) into financial objectives and forecast
  • Work with technology and other partners to align cross-organizational resource plans
  • Measure and report performance against the expected benefits
  • Pro-actively appraise and recommend business strategies based upon quantitative cost and benefit analysis
  • Institute planned chargebacks on an ongoing basis and report recoveries
  • Accomplish all of the above by creating repeatable processes, automation, metrics, tools and a culture of cadenced, proactive reporting with recommendations, call to action and follow through

Required locations for this position are either 1755 Grant St Concord, CA; 333 Market St, San Francisco, CA or 3440 Walnut St, Freemont, CA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position will work remotely until COVID restrictions are lifted.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting
  • 8+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program management experience
  • 4+ years of Agile experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Financial services experience
  • Ability to present reports to and interact with senior leaders
  • Ability to manage large complex cross-matrix organization that includes: multiple business, technology and risk disciplines with direct leadership; the development of the strategy for information security; and implementation of roadmaps for the Enterprise
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Experience leading effective collaboration across a team of project managers focusing on different functional areas for the same project

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Operational support exposure; preferably in the Credit Card line of business
  • Experience in leading Digital Initiatives, focusing on Mobile Application
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to partner with executive sponsors to deliver the most complex projects, portfolios, and/or programs
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to manage portfolios consisting of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Advanced forecasting skills with the ability to create executive-level reporting on both resource plans and budget plans
  • Ability to present to multiple levels of leadership
  • Agile SAFe certification or other advanced Agile certifications
