About This Job

The Incentive Analyst is primarily responsible for validating incentive data originating from multiple systems, managing incentive plans, helping maintain systems, and backing up other system and incentive analysts.

Essential Functions

  • Validate and maintain incentive data across multiple plans
  • Manage multiple systems for profitability and incentive
  • Develop new and enhancing existing Incentive compensation plans to meet changing business needs and attract/retain top talent
  • Manage shifting/overlapping priorities, projects, and deadlines, with multiple business lines and managers
  • Develop business requirements for required system changes
  • Utilize Excel, Access, SQL and Crystal Reports to construct data sets for calculations, reporting, analysis, etc
  • Develop dynamic data models to determine impacts of potential enhancements to Incentive Plans/Calculations
  • Maintain high levels of data integrity, through queries and manual assessment
  • Act as administrator of internal Incentive compensation system, developed in Varicent
  • Design standard and ad hoc reporting to support initiatives.
  • Tailor communication and presentations to multiple audiences, including payees and executive management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Highly skilled at organization and project management
  • Excellent analytical and deductive reasoning skills
  • Ability to effectively set deadlines and communicate delays
  • Managing multiple projects, documenting progress, setting timelines/roadmaps, and adapting to unexpected hurdles
  • Ability to streamline complex, data-driven concepts, into actionable recommendations
  • Applying advanced functionality in MS Excel
  • Working with relational databases
  • Understanding of MS SQL
  • Building and maintaining advanced queries in MS Access
  • Building dynamic Excel workbooks for data analysis, modeling, and forecasting
  • Administrating sales incentive plans, bonus plans, and/or other compensation programs
  • Working with Commercial Banking products and/or systems
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years experience required
