Job Description

  • Selects suppliers and manages corresponding partnerships for support of all operating companies via the Procurement Services group. Drives cost reduction initiatives, customer service levels, and quality requirements across the enterprise. Performs other duties assigned by management.
  • Strategically sources commodities, materials, and services across all companies.
  • Evaluates and selects suppliers based on their ability to maintain optimum customer service levels at costs in line with annual budgetary expectations.
  • Negotiates and awards multi-faced business-wide enterprise contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of specific commodities and up to date cost measurements. Tracks commodity and supplier performance using approved metrics.
  • Establishes and manages the corporate alliance agreements.

Job Requirements:


  • Seeking candidate that has 1-3 years of purchasing/supply chain experience.
  • An associate's Degree is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical (Engineering), Supply Chain or Finance fields can be substituted for experience.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain is a plus
  • Seeking a candidate that is willing to learn and take on new challenges and be proactive.
  • Strong informal, leadership, and communication skills and the ability to mentor team members.
  • Clear commercial focus (contract writing, negotiation) and provide a record of cost reduction. Proven record of increasing responsibility in an individual contributor role.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a clear sense of urgency.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation-related communication skills.
