Ophthalmic Technician Cert-Main Grady -PRN-Day Shift

The Certified Ophthalmic Technician provides a variety of eye care duties to assist the Ophthalmologist in ocular examinations and treatments. Responsibilities include performing routine vision examinations, instrument maintenance and cleaning, preparation of examination rooms, and patient education.
  • HS diploma or GED-Required
  • Additional trade school or college course work in related field of study-Preferred
  • Minium of  2 years of ophthalmic experience required in setting with full service ophthalmic center-Required
  • BLS is required .
  • Active Certification by JCAHPO is required.
Clinic is open Monday-Friday, Closed on weekends, Day Shift, Clinic is located  at the Main Grady Hospital
