Job Description: The Purchasing Representative position maintains and provides accurate item information to all departments from suppliers.

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain accurate information in item database for assigned suppliers
  • Generate purchase orders to supplier by email, fax or online
  • Contact vendors for estimated delivery date of items
  • Ensure item information is notated correctly in software program and communicate orders status to other department
  • Daily reconciliation of items received in software program
  • Process and monitor full cycle returns to suppliers by coordinating shipping and vendor information
