Accounting Clerk II

Job Summary 

Perform multiple accounting support functions, such as compiling, sorting, and preparing billing and payment documents, performing customer and vendor collection and support calls, calculating and verifying debit and credit memos, and posting journal entries.  Ensure the appropriate completion of accounting responsibilities.  Create and produce reports and assist accountants on special projects as necessary. 

Job Requirements

  • Process and assist with customer/vendor collection and payment functions.

  • Assist with escalated customer service calls and major account collections.

  • Ensure customer payments are applied to related invoices accurately.

  • Perform reconciliations on customer accounts.

  • Assist with general ledger reconciliations.

  • Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility.


  • Knowledge of customer support and accounting functions.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (i.e., VLookup), and Outlook. 


  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Other Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of prior experience or education in Accounting/Finance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance a strong plus.
