Home Instead of Media is looking for an energetic problem solver to join their team!  As a Scheduler, your primary responsibility will be scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality of service with a focus on creating extraordinary relationships.  This position requires flexibility, enthusiasm to learn and excellent communication skills.  The ideal candidate would be a self starter who can work both independently and within a team, effectively communicate with a variety of audiences including clients, caregivers, family members and business partners, maintain a positive attitude during high-stress situations and demonstrate good conflict resolution and decision making skills. 

You'll be involved in all parts of the business including, but not limited to, Caregiver orientation and onboarding, Client support,  clerical assistance, new-client intake / inquiries, managing office and caregiver schedule and participate in inner-office trainings.

  • High School / G.E.D. 


  • Administrative Assistant: 1 year (Required)
  • Health Care Scheduling preferred 
  • Health Care experience preferred

Work Location:

  • One location, office

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner. 

  • Assist with creating and maintaining client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships

  • Assist with monitoring and logging client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system

  • Assist with problem resolution with client and CAREGiver issues

  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Health Care Scheduling Experience STRONGLY Preferred.
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgement and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures

  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry

  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work

  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office, colleagues, CAREGivers and Community
