The Senior Vice President, Compliance is primarily responsible for overseeing and directing the operational compliance of the Company. Within the Compliance Department, this position will oversee and manage marketing, licensing, reporting, fair lending and auditing personnel. This role must have deep subject matter expertise in all federal and state mortgage lending laws. This role will, in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer, play a critical part in the review, analysis and assessment of the Company's compliance and business objectives and adherence to the Company's Compliance Management System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage various departments and functional areas within the Compliance Department (Ex: Compliance Auditing, Licensing (Company and MLO), Privacy Officers, Marketing, etc.);

Review, design and implement relevant policies and procedures;

Design and implement risk and audit teams;

Work directly with external auditors and regulators to address exceptions and implement solutions;

Direct team in performance of risk assessments, audits, testing and training;

Serve as a successful liaison to the Board of Managers and Senior Management;

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: (Include if the role includes direct reports)

The SVP of Compliance has direct supervisory responsibilities and carries out the responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing employee's work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, performance coaching, and resolving problems; interviewing, hiring and training.

Minimum Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college; and seven or more years of relevant compliance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience interpreting and executing applicable Federal, State and Local laws related to mortgage lending (TILA, TRID, ECOA, UDAAP, FTC, RESPA, TCPA, SAFE, MAP, etc.).

Previous senior management experience required.

Highly computer literate with Google Suite, MS Office / PC.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in office support software such as Word/Excel and/or Google Documents/Sheets.

Strong customer service experience; good verbal and written communication skills.

Highly responsive and well organized; deadline driven.
