Medical Assistant

Description:

MUST HAVES:

1. Certified Medical Assistant preferred, CMA or RMA (or obtain within 90 days of start)

2. At least 3 months of experience as a medical assistant, OB/GYN is nice to have

3. EMR experience

- Assist physicians with all patient interactions

- Record vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, medication review, smoking status and any other pertinent information into our Electronic Medical Record software that will be necessary for the physician to make an informed diagnosis/healthcare decision

- Responsible to successfully complete any and all assessment and plans provided by any physician within our organizational community

- Calling patients, explaining test/lab results, contacting pharmacies for patient medication questions/refills, etc.

- Responsible to set up rooms for any and all obstetric/gynecologic exams and procedures

Prefer 2-3 years of great experience, but will take a candidate who is sharp and is entry level
