Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Day Treatment Clinical Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision, documentation review, as well as building and supporting two therapeutic classrooms in conjunction with the Education team. The Day Treatment Supervisor will oversee two clinicians and four Student Engagement Specialists (SES). The Day Treatment Supervisor reports to the Day Treatment Director.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate on the implementation of Attachment Regulation and Competencies framework, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Trauma Informed Care and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports in the day treatment setting.
  • Provide one hour of direct supervision with supervisees each week, along with one hour of group supervision to the clinical team.
  • Train Clinicians on therapy models, interventions, as well as administration and integration of assessment into treatment planning.
  • Lead Child Team Meetings and Debriefs weekly with all classroom staff.
  • Review direct reports clinical and treatment documentation for the clients, and ensure timely documentation turn around and quarterly chart audits are completed
  • Be current in QMAP certification and agency protocols related to medication management for SES support and training. Foster community and cultivate an environment of acknowledgement and respect for racial, ethnic and cultural differences of all clients and staff.
  • Manage all personnel functions in coordination with HR.

Minimum Requirements:

  • LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.
  • Three years of experience working with children K-12 with emotional disabilities and other learning challenges.
  • Experience with family systems theory, crisis intervention, and case management with underserved populations.
  • Maintains active professional licensure in good standing with DORA.
  • Valid CO driver’s license.
