Parts Associate

Description:

We are looking for a friendly, smart, and customer service-oriented individual to join our team. No previous experience is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is ambitious and eager to learn. The Parts Associate will interact with repair shops, customers, and technicians about their parts needs. Our Parts Department is very busy and we need talented people to sell parts via phone, email, and personal interaction.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, control, and protect inventory
  • Greet customers promptly, courteously, and with professionalism
  • Answer phones and e-mails in a timely manner
  • Keep store organized and merchandized
  • Keep proper level of stock on hand
  • Receiving and shipping of parts and accessories
  • Assist the technicians in finding parts and accessories they need to finish their tasks
  • Selling add-on accessories to every customer
  • Clean shelving, inventory, and counters daily
  • Complete daily stock orders and place them with the distributers
  • Control special orders to be sure they are not getting dated
  • Other duties assigned by management
  • Strict adherence to Hilltop Camper and RV's company policies, as written in the Company Handbook

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Product knowledge
  • Ability to sell
  • Reliable, professional, respectful, and courteous at all times
  • Self-directed; needing minimal supervision and direction
  • Capable of working with others as a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work overtime as the workload demands it
  • Must be able to excel in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to be on your feet all day
  • Basic computer knowledge and comfortable communicating via email and on the phone
