Field Operations is in search of a Data Analyst III to support the Field Operations National Quality Program. This role will assist in the development of measurements, the on-going analysis and interpretation of the Quality Program data to determine top defects, performance, continuous improvement, and business value. They will also support the analysis and reporting for Quality Program Management and Compliance. This person will be an expert in reporting, analysis, and metrics and have a solid track record of creating views that provide business metrics created out of raw data. The position must effectively interface with Regional stakeholders, enterprise technology groups, and boundary partners. The ability to work in a collaborative manner, understand the translation of data into business value, and the ability to support continuous improvement activities will be critical in this position.


  • Define and propose Quality Measurements to support the National Quality Strategy and enable the Regional Teams
  • Understands and is the expert on the data in the supporting Quality systems and tools
  • Establish the plan and support the implementation for the storage of the quality data
  • Establish the plan and support the implementation for the visualization of the quality data
  • Recommend and establish metrics to measure and provide visibility, transparence and drive the benefit of the Quality Program
  • Creates and maintains statistical and transactional databases and reports and dashboards
  • Creates visualizations of the Quality data and other required data to support the business analysis of the data
  • Uses and may program statistical analysis software
  • May write code to automate reports and templates and consolidate data into reports and knowledge
  • Defines, maintains, and runs weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Performs monthly analysis that provides a snapshot of the Quality Program with highlights of successes, risks, and opportunities in support of the Field Operations National Quality strategy
  • Defines and writes reports, creates charts, and presentations in support of the Field Operations National Quality Program
  • Identifies data gaps and recommends solutions to address the issues
  • Provides recommendations for process improvements
  • Effectively facilitates collaborative assessment and requirements gathering
  • Performs pointed analysis and presents results as required
  • Supports the development of business cases in partnership with Finance quantifying the cost of poor quality, and transaction reduction benefits as a result of quality initiatives
  • Partners with Performance Management and determines the impacts of the new quality program to Performance Management metrics
  • Conducts business impact analyses and validation studies and market research through all stages: concept formation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research report
  • Consults with internal customers, cross-functional team members, and external vendors as required
  • Facilitates meetings and presentations to senior leadership



  • 5+ years successful experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and report/dashboard building and maintenance OR 2+ years of experience if the candidate possesses a related advanced degree (i.e., MS/MBA or above)
  • Demonstrated experience with technical data analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of the correlation of data to business value
  • Sound experience with advanced data analytics and statistics
  • Excellent follow-through and initiative in issue resolution and task completion
  • 5+ years of work experience using Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5+ years in data analysis leveraging Excel, SQL, Minitab and other data analysis tools
  • 5+ years of work experience in data visualization, report/dashboard creation and maintenance, and tying data to business value


  • 7+ years in data analysis and reporting experience
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline
  • Experience in the Cable or Telecommunications or other service industry
