The HVAC Installation Manager is primarily responsible to prioritize, direct, and supervise all Installation Technicians as well as complete installation calls to customers. Focus on the customer and delivery of product/service. Provide customer service training to educate and assist Installation Technicians with regard to educating customers in the processes involved in the installation of their equipment and handling customer relations. Provide technical support in the field, to respond to escalated customer complaints, and to ensure compliance with the company’s core values and purpose.

Responsibilities

  • The HVAC Installation Manager Prioritize directs, and supervises all Installation Technicians as well as completes service calls to customers.
  • Provide consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to Installation Technicians.
  • Partner with service, dispatch, warehouse, and any others necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures. Resolve escalated customer disputes/complaints to address issues and ensuring an effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Communicate with each Installation Technician to ensure a clear understanding of their goals and expectations.
  • Help instill a fun and nurturing culture with Frank Gay Services Core Values.
  • Assist in contribution and facilitation of the weekly Install meetings with appropriate, positive, and balanced content.
  • Identify ways to make it easier for Installation Technicians to do their jobs. Ensure that safety topics are incorporated into one-to-one coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions.

Required Education and Experience

  • At least five (5) years of residential Installation experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service, including air conditioning & heating systems.
  • Prior HVAC Service Technician experience with ability to train others.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions.
  • Physical Dexterity must occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds or more averaging 4 times a week.
  • Some overnight and local travel is expected for this position.
