Position Information:
The Nurse Practitioner, will work under the Primary Supervising Physician, all Vascular Surgery Physician Partners, and the Advanced Practice Provider Director, to deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including adults and geriatric Vascular Surgery patients at WakeMed. The position consists of weekday,  weekend and holiday assignments as well as night call for inpatient and clinic support, emergency consultations and admissions. The APP will participate in admissions and consultations, rounds, and function as the on-site Vascular Surgery liaison. The APP provides orders for transfer or discharge as appropriate and communicates directly with the Vascular Surgery on-call physician during emergencies. Position to maintain the scope of practice to be consistent with the policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines governed by the North Carolina Medical Board, the North Carolina Board of Nursing and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies and procedures of WakeMed. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed.

Master's Degree Nursing Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required
