Purchasing Assistant

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment, invoice processing, inventory control, data reporting and the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery for all KabaFusion’ s various locations.


  • Using contracted wholesalers and distributors, place material/equipment purchasing orders for the various locations
  • Ensure GPO or direct purchase costs are loaded correctly with the wholesaler, distributor and each site
  • Inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications in receiving for locations as needed ensuring accuracy of quantity and costs
  • Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Accurately and efficiently processes invoices by matching them with the purchase order and packing slip
  • Maintains records, copies and file invoices for easy reference and retrieval
  • Enters data for new products ensuring correct costs, revenue codes, supplier(s) and site are accurate
  • Maintain records by creating and entering product locations into CPR+ software. Create shelving label with product information and reference codes for easy retrieval
  • Produce purchasing reports as requested
  • Assist in coordinating monthly inventory counts and reporting


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a purchasing environment
  • Current and violation free Pharmacy Technician Licensure or Certification as required by State law in the state requesting employment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; proficient with Excel and Word
  • Familiarity and knowledge of CPR+ data system a plus
