Summary/Objective

The Commercial Services Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent member service, directing member inquires, and providing administrative assistance to the Commercial Department and Hoosier Hills Insurance Agency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the highest level of professionalism when interacting with members through friendly, informative, and helpful communications, which are key to understanding and identifying member needs, solving problems and in representing the Credit Union.
  • Increases member satisfaction by taking ownership of each request and being highly responsive to the needs of members and in finding solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Builds rapport by establishing credible relationships with members and prospective members through consistent high-quality service.
  • Utilizes other business units as needed to assist members.

Member and Business Focus – Continuously champions knowledge of and experience with member and team interactions to be a trusted resource.

  • Creates business value for the membership and commercial deposit team and aligns the organization with success by creating an experience that surpasses expectations with every interaction.
  • Serves as a trusted resource to members and fellow team members by possessing strong knowledge of HHCU products, services, and member experience standards, and always acts in the best interest of the member and team.
  • Engages in problem resolution from start to finish by clarifying the issue, determining the cause, and following up to ensure there is a resolution.
  • Achieves expected service results by taking personal ownership of both member and team member request and aligning personal goals with the goals of the organization.

Acumen and Technical Savvy - Possesses proficiency in commercial deposit services, systems and processes to ensure highest level of service and member satisfaction with every transaction.

  • Knowledgeable of commercial deposit, insurance and investment products, services and processes and able to effectively communicate information.
  • Provides highest level of service to members and visitors entering the Annex facility. Act as first point of contact.
  • Primary point of contact for telephone and email inquiries. Prioritizes telephone inquiries. Maintains email inbox, efficiently responds to inquiries, and directs to appropriate team member when necessary.
  • Opens commercial deposit accounts, performs account maintenance and makes commercial account opening follow-up calls. Orders checks and/or debit cards, assists with online banking enrollment and/or troubleshooting. Completes commercial research requests and account verification forms.
  • Assists with commercial Visa applications and maintenance requests.
  • Activates and links commercial accounts in Q2 Central. Troubleshoots Q2 issues including but not limited to wires, ACH transfers, user management, remote deposit, and automatic loan payments.
  • Makes commercial fraud follow-up calls.
  • Processes Hoosier Hills Insurance walk-in payments.
  • Assists with HHI member follow-up and document overflow.
  • Responsible for scanning, faxing, filing and mailing.
  • Maintains and orders department supplies and marketing materials and gifts.
  • Completes annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC and any related training annually as assigned by Training or Compliance Staff. Comply with all applicable BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies, and business practices established by Credit Union management.
