Lead Line

Good To Eat serves fine Taiwanese cuisine - mainly dumplings and noodles and small dishes that great pairing with craft beer.  We are selected as top Chinese restaurants by SF chronicle 2021. We are a chef owner driven, women-led, immigrant-owned business and devoted to create Taiwanese inspired menu with elegant flavors with local ingredients.  We have proven record of surviving through pandemic, taking care of our staff even during the most difficult time, and keep growing the business with a good way with a purpose for the community .

We are a very small team and is looking for someone who love to join a small team and bring everyone together to execute our beautiful food to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

As a lead line at our popup kitchen,  you responsibility:
- You are a excellent line cook and is able to cook all of our food perfectly.  (so you can help other staff) (with this requirement, you will need to have prior professional kitchen experience before, and will be easier if you are familiar with fine Asian cuisine )
- You are able to train new cooks
- you will be planning for the prep work for the food service, including before shift or during the shift.
- You are able to coordinate with BOH team members to make sure the BOH operation run smoothly.  You are able to jump on any necessary works for team members.
- you are comfortable working at open kitchen, talking to customers and introduce our food to represent the BOH line cook team
- You will also work at our production kitchen where we make all the dumplings -- so you know the whole experience of our food making

This is a full time job position
work 40 hours / week.
Current Food Service operation hours : TUE WED THU 4-10pm, FRI SAT SUN 11-10pm
