Full-time Hourly Position tipping to minimum of $12.32 hourly + tips with benefits.

Located in Santa Fe, NM. Working out of our Inn & Spa at Loretto.

Position Purpose: The Busser will under the direction of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, maintain the quality and cleanliness of the front of house dining areas, and back of house kitchens, while assisting the team as needed. The busser is an essential support to the Front of House team in creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Work under direction of Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Communicate daily with Kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining area.
  • Maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and being alert to beverage needs.
  • Prepare dining outlets for service, checking service stations and tables to ensure correct set-up and cleanliness.
  • Resolve issues for any approaching guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Answer the phone and assist with guest seating, serving food or (non-alcoholic) drinks as requested.
  • Handle all checks and cash according to procedures stipulated.
  • Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
. Requirements:
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required.
  • Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
