Lead Line Cook

Fairways Cantina is hiring for a Lead Line Cook position to be the 2nd in Command of our Kitchen.  The position also requires FOH customer interaction and duties.  Located at the Morris Williams Golf Course, our new counter service concept is growing and needs team members that are out-going, detail oriented and looking for a fun, casual & positive work environment. We serve up delicious food, cold beverages and patio vibes.

This opportunity is for a full-time position, with open availability required.  Operational Hours: 8am - 9pm weekdays and 8am - 10pm Friday and Saturdays. 

- Must be comfortable providing a high level of FOH customer service
- Assist Chef in all areas of inventory management, prep schedules & food production

- Must be at least 18 years of age, TABC and FOOD HANDLERS certified
- Assist Operations in leading and running a smooth shift
- Be able to handle all aspects of the cash register responsibilities, such as but not limited to cash/credit/check management transactions, taking guests orders, ensuring proper change if applicable and counting drawers at the end of shift. 
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to serve guests food and drinks.  No bartending experience required.
- Assist in food running
- Ability to multitask 
- Take orders over the phone and register 
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment 
- Ability to lift 35lbs
- Assist Operations in opening/closing duties pertaining to your shift
- Assist in re-stocking all areas of the business
- Assist in maintaining a clean dining area and patio 
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
