Line Chef

Top Burmese is a virtual restaurant turned little boutique restaurant in NW Portland. The restaurant highlights its vegan-friendly menu and home-style Burmese cooking.

We are seeking both Part-Time Junior Chefs to become an integral part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation and cooking. Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
  • Clean and prepare the cooking areas.
  • Assist kitchen manager with inventory and ordering.
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Great learning aptitude and adaptability to constant changes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pasted, high pressured environment with very little direction.
  • Friendly, positive, self-starter and a team player.
  • Prior cooking experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a food handler card.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
