Position Overview

Align seeks an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist that will assist in a variety of marketing efforts to help increase awareness for Align's core business offerings. This role will have a specific emphasis on the Alternative Investment audience relevant to our Managed Services offering. The ideal candidate will be creative and have Alternative Finance (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Institutional Family Office, and broader alternative finance service providers ecosystem) experience. Candidate will assist in gaining visibility and promoting Align as an experienced market leading Managed Services Provider within the Alternative Investment space. The candidate will be a hands-on resource to Sr. Marketing Manager with proven ability to work Business and Technical Leads in the development of creative, market-relatable communications. Knowledge of the complete marketing lifecycle including positioning and creative sessions, go-to-market strategies, production and launch is essential. This candidate will need to possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and be well-rounded in all aspects of marketing including digital, social, communications and research.

  • Assist in Align's external marketing and communications programs geared toward our Managed Services Offering within the Alternative Investment space
    • Proposal enhancements
    • Datasheet creation
    • Content creation for articles, blog posts, internal and external communications
    • Identify new potential certifications/awards for organization
    • Responsible for award submission process including obtaining correct information, timely submissions, and accuracy.
    • Webinars
    • In Person seminars
    • Seminars, virtual and physical
    • Managed Industry events from a PR standpoint
    • Create Blog articles centered around Managed Services for the Alternative Finance Space
    • Assist with social media campaign development across Align's core offerings
    • Business Development marketing support:
    • Manage ongoing Award Process for Managed Services group
    • Work with Managed Service partners to host 3 rd party marketing events:
    • Help support Line of Business management team with ongoing PR commitments
  • Work closely with Sr. Marketing Manager, Sales & Senior Management to develop and execute marketing plans tthat support and extend Align's Corporate business strategy, track programs, and produce compelling digital & offline vehicles including:
    • On-line & interactive efforts - corporate website, demonstrations, presentations, SEO and lead capture & tracking.
    • Events - sponsored events, trade shows, partner events.
    • Required collateral - brochures & sales materials, success stories, project recaps, white papers.
    • Marketing partnerships - vendor-driven events, coop marketing programs.
    • Advertisements & Media - PPC, keyword, select media placements, direct mail.
    • Analyst & Media Outlets - point of contact for industry-specific analysts and thought leaders.
    • Public Relations - select PR announcements.
    • Marketing Campaigns - ability to plan, develop and implement and report on Marketing campaigns from start to finish. Will work closely with Professional Services Line of Business Managers to obtain requirements, build collateral and effectively managed Campaigns.
  • Deliver creative concepts that support and enable achievement of corporate goals, campaigns and objectives.
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing resources and any outsourced creative services needed to accomplish goals and tasks.
  • Assist in driving internal communications, standards and branding initiatives and Align's internal SharePoint site for collaboration and communication.
  • Work with Managed Services groups to maintain up-to-date collateral.
  • Support Align's talent acquisition team on new candidate and employer branding initiatives.
  • Ability to engage with both in-house and virtual employees/resources and provide weekly reporting on all initiatives to Management team.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT or professional services marketing and communications.
  • The ideal candidate will have some experience marketing to an Alternative Finance audience (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Institutional Family Office, and broader alternative finance service providers ecosystem), but this is not required
  • Exceptional creative writing skills with demonstrable experience partnering with subject matter experts (SME) and business leadership to consolidate knowledge-capital and develop content in a variety of formats.
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated business-to-business marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results measurement.
  • In-depth knowledge of branding and a passionate commitment to quality and consistency with all client touch points.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with existing Marketing team. Ability to manage outside resources (consultants/outsources resources) where necessary.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with a reputation for flawless program management and execution.
  • Any experience managing a proposal desk or knowledge of professional services proposal development best practices would be preferred.
  • Presentation skills with experience to both small & large groups.
