Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the life cycle of the implementation by managing project team members, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met, quality standards are upheld, and project success criteria are achieved.

The ability to effectively communicate with the project owner, stakeholders and internal team members, is critical to success in this role.

This role will manage 4-7 projects concurrently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Guides project owner through end to end project process

• Responsible for managing the life cycle of the implementation

Responsible for Planning, execution and management of the project, including:

o objectives

o deliverables

o scope

o tasks

o resources and budget management

o success measures

o lessons learned

• Provides Weekly Status Reports, including tasks completed, upcoming deliverables, risks, issues, actions & decisions and works with team to maintain the Master Project Plan.

• Be the central point of identification and management of project risk

• Provide reports, dashboards and succinct updates to the project sponsors and stakeholders which includes senior leadership

• Analyze metrics and trends as well as conduct postmortems to evaluate success of overall project

• Gathers and stores signoffs and project deliverables

Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in HR/Payroll process & technology project management
  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll
  • Ability to make high level decisions utilizing problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Adeptness at learning new technology and tools
  • Experience managing project financials, scope management and budget tracking
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Credentials (if required)
• PMP Certification preferred

Working Conditions

• Must be able to travel 5%, if remote more travel maybe required

• Must be able to lift to 15 lb

This position is performed in a traditional office environment

• Access information using a computer.

• Effectively communicate with others.

• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
