Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience and/or business knowledge of general product life cycles and its commercial success. The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure the company strategy and goals are met.

The Product Manager is a full-time position. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance are offered on the 31st day of employment. 401K eligibility begins after the 60th day of employment. Pay is bi-weekly. Generous PTO policy, starting on your 90th day of employment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the local product portfolio (product owner)
  • Analyze the market, segments, competitors, and portfolio to better align company strategy and goals
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
  • Assists with development of marketing tools as it relates to value propositions
  • Supports sales, when necessary, on providing best product relating to specific applications
  • Develops technical continual education program for sales team
  • Go-to for sales team regarding technical product knowledge
  • Manages life cycle and product roadmap of local products and launches in coordination with HQ
  • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market (documentation, catalogue, etc…)
  • Link to HQ Product Management to make sure that the actions follow the WEISS global strategy
  • Develop demonstrations for local trade shows and sales meetings
  • Responsible for increasing the local application knowledge and sharing with HQ.
  • Supporting the HQ in defining of requirement specifications for new products

Desired Skills & Experience

  • BS in Engineering, Business or Manufacturing discipline.
  • Strong desire to work with a fast growing, high tech leader in the field of factory automation equipment.
  • Driven personality and a can-do attitude is a must.
  • Team oriented leader that can build strong chemistry within the group
  • Independent thinker with a desire to succeed
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
