Job Summary


At Kinetic Advantage we are all hands-on deck - all the time. We are growing quickly and are looking to add an exceptional Manager of Business Development Center (BDC) to our team. As the Manager of BDC you will be responsible for carrying out daily BDC activities and held accountable for their completion. You will coordinate the daily game plan for your teams handling of all prospecting and dealer calls; as well as assisting with recruiting, training, and developing new employees, and managing your teams Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be responsible for leading your team to success by driving dealer application volume and contract conversions through knowledge of the industry and the relationships you and your team establish with our dealer partners. Your ability to provide leadership and mentoring to the team, along with best-in-class service to our dealers, will be a key in your team's success. When our dealers succeed, you will succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of inside sales professionals to exceed expectations
  • Assist the Director of Business Development in all daily activities, including but not limited to, inside sales teams KPI performance, pipeline management, CRM utilization, and overall training of the team
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Coordinate department projects and pilots to meet deadlines
  • Work closely with Field Representatives to ensure maximum collaboration and lead conversion
  • Review and report on Call Center metrics and ensure the BDC maintains expected call performance
  • Escalate ideas, issues, and/or concerns to the Director of Business Development
  • Continuously inspect the quality and process of your team's performance to quickly uncover trends, strengths, and opportunities
  • Listen to recorded calls to find opportunities for training and feedback
  • Collaborate with corporate and field resources to ensure application pipeline converts to contracts
  • Conduct ongoing Sales training for BDC to improve skills
  • Prioritize the dealer experience and timely follow-ups within teams' pipeline(s)
  • Maintain accuracy of all BDC documents, resources, guides, and tools within our shared system of record
  • Manage payroll, PTO requests, and timecards for your team
  • Develop, improve, and expand new processes for the BDC department
  • Assist, develop, and direct in new hire training and development
  • Resolve and assist sales team with technical issues regarding daily lead tracking
  • Investigate and resolve any dealer partner issues by following escalation process
  • Develop and lead sales contests on an ongoing basis
  • Use partner feedback to generate ideas and improve experience
  • Ensure current policies and procedures are followed while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Cultivate an open-communication environment for your team
  • Engage with Marketing department to ensure brand consistency and increased sales performance

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two (2) plus years in automotive or financial services industry preferred
  • Experience managing a team of at least 7+ direct reports
  • Expertise with sales concepts, procedures, and inside sales processes typically used in automotive and financial services industries

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • A proactive thinker who possesses the ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to provide exceptional written and verbal communications and manage a heavy volume of calls, emails, and internal communications
  • Strong analytical ability to utilize data to drive actions and results
  • History of a high-performance mentality and positive results to support


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, move about an office environment
  • Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
