Loan Officer Assistant: WFH Flexible


**Local candidate who is open to a hybrid WFH and in-office schedule** The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks on behalf of a Loan Officer. The LOA will work with clients to verify application data and collect documentation to prepare a loan file for submission to processing. The LOA will also work with the processor once the file has been reviewed by underwriting. The primary goal of this position is to work with the client and the Loan Officer on getting a complete, accurate file sent into submitting for underwriting.


  • Verify the application data in the system with the client
  • Draw the application docs and send the application packet to client for signatures
  • Complete LE -must disclose within 3 days of getting the 6 pieces of information from the borrower
  • Send Privacy Notices to the client
  • Request any needed support docs from the client
  • Call the client to let them know what has been sent to them and to call you if they have any questions
  • Review the received signed disclosures for accuracy; we should now have intent to proceed with the borrower signing the Mortgage Compliance Transmittal form
  • Review the support documents received, update the system if any information has changed, and ensure all required documents are received
  • Put file together, run findings, and turn in the complete file to submitting (Include notes in the conversation log as the story on the file or any documents that are missing that have been requested)
  • Collect the application fee and order the appraisal
  • Work with processor to get all documentation need to get file to closing
  • Communicate with the client as needed throughout the process
  • Other duties as assigned
. Requirements:
  • Local candidate who is open to a hybrid WFH and in-office schedule
  • Computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with EnCompass (Loan Operating System) and investor website operation
  • Detailed understanding of underwriting guidelines for loan programs
  • Excellent customer service

  • Offering or negotiating the terms of a loan, including locking rates

Pay Range: $35,000-$45,000 salary plus a per file bonus and overtime
