Vector Solutions is looking for a high performing Sales Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for effectively demonstrating the Vector Risk and Safety products (including LiveSafe, LMS, and Vector EHS) and partnering with the sales team to sell Vector Risk and Safety products to new and existing clients across all three Business Units at Vector. The Sales Solutions Engineer role is a client facing role that requires superior skills in communication, presentation and product expertise.


• Work closely with multiple sales reps across the organization to enable effective cross-sell of Vector Risk and Safety products to new and existing customers in the areas of general industry, public sector and commercial

• Build and present customized demos of the Vector Risk and Safety solutions

• Understand the customer's needs, and establish Vector Risk and Safety solutions as the best solution that solves the customer's challenges

• Secure technical wins by differentiating Vector products against the competition, handle technical objections and mitigate any concerns that might block a deal from closing

• Maintain a broad and deep technical understanding of Vector products and the underlying technologies

• Respond effectively to RFPs

• Assist in training sales reps to effectively position the Vector products to their new and existing customers

• Work across all levels of the organization to develop best practices to further Vector position as a market leader

• Familiarity with and understanding of other Vector products and a solutions to assist with and recommend solutions for a multi-product enterprise sale.

. Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related fields (preferred) and/or a strong, extensive technology-focused business background

• 5+ years supporting the selling of a SaaS product to enterprise organizations.

• 5+ years as a successful Sales Engineer OR 5+ years in a Professional Services/Consulting role that is client facing and involves sales scenarios

• Strong business value selling experience

• Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience acting as a technology evangelist and promoter of modernizing safety practices a plus
