IT Support Specialist

THE OPPORTUNITY

We count on our IT team to work in close alignment with all internal business units to provide excellent IT support and solutions to our global user community and on-site support in the Bangalore office. Our IT Support Specialist will have 2 years of experience working with people and some familiarity of Macs and PCs. In this role, you will learn and shadow our current IT staff to troubleshoot basic issues, conference room setups, printers, etc. You will work with a helpdesk system to document troubleshooting steps, track and close tickets. Your project will be to assist with the helpdesk to rollout new IT initiatives. You will learn how to troubleshoot common PC issues and learn what it takes to work in an Enterprise IT environment. You will also need to be proactive in securing all the logical business systems and intellectual property behind the firewall. You will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related corporate infrastructure.

The technology landscape is evolving, and the person in this role participates in technical research and development to enable innovation. They will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to the Vision of Xactly. You may also take on projects and be responsible for all phases, including definition, analysis, design, build, testing and change management.
