Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates and supervises the MTC staff in the delivery of intelligence centered training support.
Supports exercise design and integrates Intelligence Simulation capabilities into training events that meet training unit objectives.
Subject matter expert in the Intelligence Warfighting Function, intelligence systems and integration of intelligence into mission command operations.
Provides intelligence collection instruction, coaching and mentoring to brigade and battalion staffs.
Subject matter expert on the following intelligence simulations: Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM), and Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) systems.
Configures and operates the various components of IEWTPT, WIM, and MUSE.
Specific to IEWTPT: Configures and operates the Technical Control Cell (TCC), Target Signature Arrays (TSA), and Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG)/simulation interface to process the enhanced constructive information into native protocols of the organic ISR systems being stimulated.
Provide intelligence simulation support to Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming integrated events.

Operate constructive simulations. (e.g. JLCCTC-MRF 8.1 and Low Overhead Stimulations (LOTS and iLOD)).

Conducts analysis and research with government customers, government MTC staff, DA G2 Operational Environment Center, and Field Service Representatives to improve intelligence support to unit training.
Develops scenarios, scenario products, and scenario databases in support of unit training.
Maintains proficiency in Mission Command Systems integration and interoperability (primarily CPOF/CPCE, AFATDS, and DCGS-A) in order to instruct and assist operators during training events.
Supports unit After Action Reviews (AAR) by assisting with the collection plan and producing products as needed by the unit AAR lead.



Position Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
Competed Captain's Career Course,Advanced NCO Course, Battle Staff Course, Intermediate Level Educationor equivalent level military schooling.
Experience within the Intelligence Warfighting Function with a background in one or more of the Intelligence systems associated with the IEWTPT system desired.
Experience assigned to a Battalion or Brigade S2 staff.
Experience in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)and ability to instruct MDMP is preferred.
Experience with Army MissionCommand and Intelligence Collection software systems (e.g. DCGS-A).
Proficient with U.S. Army Doctrine: Unified Land Operations, Operations Process, Mission Command, Training Units and Developing Leaders and Army Leadership.

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint software programs.

Possess an adjudicated U.S. Top Secret Clearance with Special Compartmentalized Information caveat (TS/SCI). Must be able to obtain/pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT level I Cyber Security Workforce baseline certification (e.g. A+, Network+, CCNA-Security, SSCP).

Achieve a Computing Environment certification within 6 months of employment in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
