The Clinical Nurse I is a licensed professional care provider who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. In collaboration with the patient and family, provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team.

In this role, you will participate in the year-long Nurse Residency Program, as a requirement of your employment. Our Nurse Residency Program is offered in addition to your clinical orientation, and will focus on your professional growth and transition into the RN role.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred. Associate degree in nursing is required. (Associate degree graduates will be required to enroll in an accredited Bachelor's of Nursing program within six months of beginning employmentand will have three years to complete the program.)

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required. Official transcripts will be required for review and at time of hire.

Experience: No previous experience is required. Satisfactory reference from the school of nursing attended.

Clinical Nurse I - License/Cert/Reg: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment, or Multistate Compact state or license eligible. CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to set priorities and work under stress. Basic computer skills required.
