I-O Psychologist

Position Overview:  Our client is looking for an energetic and customer-driven Practitioner with a PhD in I-O Psychology who wants to use their testing, assessment, and/or talent acquisition consulting experience to make an impact on our small but growing company. Your focus will be on acquiring and retaining customers by providing subject matter expertise of our client's assessment products, including personality, cognitive, aptitude/behavioral, and skills assessments.


What you will do:

  • Translate complex assessment results into succinct, executive-level customer-facing reports and help present results to key stakeholders
  • Interview candidates for management and executive-level positions in-person, via videoconferencing and via telephone
  • Customize assessment tools for individual customer needs
  • Discuss assessment results with customers and elaborate on assessment findings
  • Act as a Solutions Engineer / Subject Matter Expert supporting during pre-sales calls, educating clients of the science and application of assessments


Required Qualifications:

  • Masters in I-O Psychology required; minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
  • Employment testing experience
  • Client facing experience (e.g., external consulting, sales support) strongly preferred
  • Understanding of behavioral dynamics
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Interest in working on a small, agile team in a startup-like environment

$57,000.00 - 86,000.00
